Dear Pioneer Families,

Quincy Farmer Consumer Awareness Day (or FCAD) is Saturday, September 13^th. Each year, local schools have participated in the parade. Pioneer Elementary will participate again this year. 

The parade will continue to be a Family Activity. If you wish for your child to march in the parade, we simply ask that instead of dropping them off, at least one adult family member stays and marches with them. This way, they will have a parent to supervise them throughout the parade experience. This will really increase our students’ safety because at the end of the parade, we won’t have just a few staff members trying to supervise a large number of kids while trying to find their parents/guardians in such a busy place. Since parents are accompanying their own children in the parade, please feel free to bring other siblings or family members along if you wish. Those Pioneer Families that plan to march with us should meet at the intersection of B Street and Central Avenue near the Quincy Swim and Gym at 9:45am on Saturday, September 13th.  Look for the green and gold! Quincy Farmer Consumer Awareness Day (o FCAD) es el sábado 13 de septiembre. Cada año las escuelas locales han participado en el desfile. La Escuela Primaria Pioneer participara de nuevo este año.   

El desfile continuara siendo una Actividad Familiar. Si usted desea que su hijo(a) marche en el desfile, nosotros simplemente le pedimos que, en vez de dejarlos, por lo menos un adulto miembro de la familia marche con ellos. De esta manera tendrán un padre que los supervise durante su experiencia en el desfile.  Esto realmente incrementara la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes porque al final del desfile no solo tendremos pocos miembros del personal de la escuela tratando de supervisar un gran número de estudiantes mientras tratan de encontrar a sus padres/guardianes en un lugar con tantas personas. Ya que los padres estarán acompañando a sus hijos(as) en el desfile, por favor siéntase libre de traer a sus otros hijos con usted si lo desea. Las Familias de Pioneer que planeen marchar con nosotros deberán reunirse con nosotros en la intersección de la calle B y Central Avenue cerca del Quincy Swim and Gym el sábado 13 de septiembre, a las 9:45am.  Como siempre, por favor llame al 787-1595 si usted tiene alguna pregunta. ¡Yo no puedo esperar verles las caras sonrientes de nuestros estudiantes!
