Parent Volunteer Committee
Pioneer Elementary staff believes strongly in active parent involvement. Parents are the child’s first and most important teacher. As partners and supporters in the education process, the Pioneer Parent Volunteer Committee (PVC) has a commitment to promote and assist in providing support in the areas of educational, fund-raising, district representation, social events, and encouraging parent involvement at Pioneer Elementary.
MEMBERSHIP
All parents and staff of Pioneer children automatically become members of PVC. All parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend the PVC monthly meetings and to become involved in the life of the school. Their help and cooperation creates a partnership that enhances a strong educational program. Parents who have a particular interest/talent are invited to join any of the committees, volunteer in the classrooms, or help with special events. Opportunities will be offered in the Pioneer monthly newsletters.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Meetings are once a quarter from 3:15 - 4:15 PM in the Pioneer Elementary library. Our next meeting is November 12th at 3:15pm.
PURPOSE
The primary purpose of PVC is to continually promote and provide assistance to the quality educational programs at Pioneer Elementary.
El personal de Pioneer cree muy fuerte en el involucramiento de los padres activos. Los padres son los primeros y más importantes maestros. Como compañeros y apoyo en el proceso de la educación, el comité de padres voluntarios (PVC) tiene un compromiso en promover y asistiendo el apoyo en las áreas de educación, recaudando fondos, representación en el distrito, eventos sociales, y animar el involucramiento de padres en la Elemental de Pioneer.
MEMBRESIA
Todos los padres y el personal de Pioneer como los niños automáticamente tienen la membresía de PVC todos los padres son bienvenidos y animarlos en asistir a las reuniones mensuales de PVC y involucrarse en la vida de la escuela. Su ayuda y cooperación crea un compromiso que enlaza un programa educacional fuerte. Padres quienes tienen un interés particular/talento son invitados en conjunto a los voluntarios de la comunidad en el salón, o ayudar en eventos especiales. Oportunidades se ofrecerán en la hoja informativa de Pioneer.
INFORMACION GENERAL
Las reuniones son cada tercer jueves de cada mes de las 6:00 hasta 7:00 pm en la librería de Pioneer.
PROPOSITO
El propósito primordial de PVC es en promover continuamente y proveer asistencia a una educación primordial el la Elemental de Pioneer.
